Consulting Minister - Open Position
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Storrs is currently seeking a consulting minister to lead our close-knit, friendly congregation. We are a mostly lay-led congregation located in Storrs, CT. We are a Welcoming Congregation and although we are small in number, our members are active and involved; with UUFS itself, with our community, and with issues of equity and justice in our nation and beyond. Our members come from a variety of religious backgrounds, but we are predominantly humanist in our outlook. We are looking for a consulting minister to conduct a Sunday worship service once a month, to provide pastoral care to our members, and to conduct a limited number of activities, such as vespers, that promote the spiritual growth of the congregation. A consulting minister with skills in growing a congregation would be most appreciated. We welcome your creativity and passion for UUFS. Linda & Leon
Linda serves as our President – clarifying our roles, hosting, expanding, promoting, In addition she leads the charge to keep the front garden in more flowers and pumpkins, and fewer weeds. In that regard, she is the Head Deadheader.
Leon is the Vice-president, chairs the Dave Nelson Social Action Committee, performs the role of Cheerful-if-Forgetful Greeter, and helps out where he can.

Ken, takes the lead as our knowledge-base for all things mechanical, electrical, electronic, legal, organizational, insurance-al, and/or practical – an all around go-to guy.
